Bowl Seating Improvements

Completion after 2028 Olympic Games

The evolution of the in-venue experience is paramount in any stadium or arena hosting major events. At the Rose Bowl, increased legroom, the addition of more down aisles and handrails will improve safety, comfortability and accessibility in the bowl seating areas.
A reduction of the Rose Bowl Stadium capacity to just over 70,000 seats will better serve the venue's core tenants and the modern-day demands of live sporting and entertainment events.
The bowl improvements will amplify the preservation and protection of the Rose Bowl's angles and rise in the seating bowl while maintaining its ellipse shape, critical components to its National Historic Landmark status.
The project will also provide a renewed connectivity to premium seating amenities in the Terry Donahue Pavilion - primarily Level C. Upper-bowl ticket holders will have more consistent access to the Level C restrooms and concession areas which will aid in the safety, security and flow of patrons during major events.
